7.  Psalm 103: 1-5  “Praise the Lord, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.  Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits – who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”

8.  Psalm 100  “Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.  Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.  Know that the Lord is God.  It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.  Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.  For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.”

20.  Matthew 6:25-27  “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear.  Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?  Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.  Are you not much more valuable than they?  Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?”

21.  John 15: 4, 5  “Remain in me, and I will remain in you.  No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine.  Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.  I am the vine; you are the branches.  If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”

22.  Psalm 34: 17-19  “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.  The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.  A righteous man may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.”

Reading these bible verses kind of made me relief. It feels good to know that when your worried and stress out, God is always there to help you in your pain. No matter what we go through we should always pray to God about it. I know He’s got my back and yours too. When I came in here i was looking for solutions to deal with my stress, then I read a few comments of people with situations I can’t even imagime what they are going through, only then did I realize how much God loves me and I am very grateful to Him. To anyone going through those difficult moments, never give up God loves you more and he will show you the light at the end of the tunnel. Will be praying for you. God loves you and stay bless. Don’t give up on him..

Id you have teusted in Jesus as your Savior, then you are free in Christ. No longer under condemnation.
Believe God that what He took out on Jesus was enough payment. As a Believer and ine who trusts in the death, life and resurrection of Jesus Christ (His finished work) alone, you have become a new creation. The old has passed- the new has come. You are no longer an enemy, but a child of God. And you are sealed by His Holy Spirit forever. Nothing can separate you from His love. Rest assured. Believe God when He said He sent His inly son to pay a debt you could never pay on your own.

Thank you so much for this post. This is exactly what I needed to remind me to trust and rely on God to take care of my great financial needs. I also wanted to point out that the following verses are from Psalm 37: 3-6, not Psalm 36:3-6: “Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this; He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.” Thanks and God bless!

The summer of 2014 was extremely stressful for me. I always thought of myself as a strong person, but I am human and will break down, as much as I try to keep it together. I felt like I was being tested, not sure why? The job search and temporary job status became so frustrating that I wanted to quit. I simply had enough. I realize I cannot handle matters alone anymore. I cannot do it all! I need the Lord’s help as my fortress. There is no one else I can talk to and just cry. I spent many days on my knees crying and asking God for his mercy, direction, courage and wisdom. I think this summer was my personal season of turmoil. I look forward to a renewed spirit and a fruitful Fall season filled with hope and blessings. Amen!

First I want to thank you for the bible verses. As I lay in tears writing this post because I lost faith. I dealt with death of my mom at fourteen, never known my father, married a man who became verbally abusive to me over the years. I went back to college to receive my associate degree and working less than 15 week. I wanted to pursue my career as a nurse however my husband is not around to help me with our children. I began to become stressed and depressed lately and strayed away from church and prayer. I am ready to reconnect with GOD and put him first before all others.

I recently underwent alot of stress, mainly because I had quit my job as manager at a resturant, where I was working so many hours without no rest.

At times we’d just sit the whole night with my ex boss, who’d critisize me for being a christian and also insult my Living God, saying God is not alive. I asked God to give me strength to move out of his life for good.

I’m currently homeless, and I’m unemployed, my faith was weak, until I read the 25 Encouraging Bible verses for stress. I prayed cried to my Father in Heaven, I now feel very light and I know that my God will make my tests my testimonies. In Jesus Name Amen.

Thank you so much for posting these beautiful verses! I have had a very stressful period in my life recently. I am living in a church members basement because I cannot afford my own place to live and I am about to lose my car because I cannot afford the payments, I cannot always afford food. Plus I am in graduate school and that comes with plenty of it’s own stress. Reading these verses really helped me to feel heavenly father’s light and the grace of the holy spirit around me, I had forgotten about that, silly me! Maybe without a car payment, I’ll be able to afford an apartment and besides, cars are not necessary to life. Heavenly father has my best interests at heart, all I have to do is trust in him and follow the path he has set out for me. Thank you again for posting these verses, they have really helped me remember what is important.

Please pray for me. I am having terrible stress that is keeping me up and making me sick. I give it to God, and then it seems to creep right back up on me unexpectedly. I have two adult sons, one I am helping through school when I can, and the other was homeless when he lost his job and I took him in but he is very angry and it makes my life very stressful. I have tremendous financial burdens, a lot of medical bills I cannot pay, so I avoided and now they are suing me. I worry day and night. I pray for God to lift this burden from me so I can deal with life’s others issues in helping my children, and living to help those around me when I can. I also just found out my long time pastor, who helped me through a very volatile divorce situation when my sons were young is dying of bone cancer. Pastor Gary showed up at my doorstep to introduce himself as a new neighbor, on the day I found my spouse was cheating & had another woman pregnant. If that wasn’t God’s intervention I don’t know what was. I call him my guardian angel, and now I will lose him soon. I am frightened, and I find solace in praying and trusting in God and I thank you for your webpage. deb

I have had so much stress in my life the last year or two. I just don’t know what to do. I know you are suppose to pray about it and give it to the Lord. I try to do that and then I turn around and take it back. In the last two years I have had Cancer twice and overcome that, and in the meantime my Mother was sick both times I was going through Chemo and Radiation. My Mother passed away last October and life has been such a challenge. I have a handicapped Brother I am taking care of. I love him with all of my heart and I promised my Mother I would take care of him as long as I live. A few years ago I had to have a knee replacement and last September I started having problems with it and in October I had to have surgery to put an Antibiotic Spacer in, as I had infection in the replacement. Now I am waiting to see if the infection is gone and then I will have another replacement put in. My movability is very limited. Now I am struggling financially something awful.as short term disability doesn’t pay very much and right now I have to pay my medical insurance out of that. Creditors keep calling and I just hang up. I have tried to talk with them but they won’t help. My stress level is over the top. I need yours and everyone elses prayers. There has got to be light somewhere in all this. Thanks for your prayers.

I have discovered that true faith is not always found on the mountaintops but in the valleys of life. The fact that you are praising God while you steadfastly make an arduous climb out of a great valley this year, speaks volumes about your character and your faith in a God Who will NEVER leave you or forsake you. This is truly an inspiration. I am 17 and going through a rough patch right now. It has always been my dream to be a foreign exchange student and I am finally living out that dream. I am loving it, but it is still the beginning of my exchange year and I am under a massive amount of stress just because of the adjusting and I think I have more anxiety than average. I have also been worried that I may not having been living life morally the way I should, but I have been working on living how God wants me to live and this has given me hope. Thank you for doing this and may God bless you for your devotion to him and his scripture!

Matt, thank you for sharing with me your challenges. As a parent and as a teacher I know the struggles only too well of those youth your age who are trying to figure out where they fit into God’s story. Keep going into the Word and seek Him with all your heart, soul, mind and strength and you will be blessed!

Matt, I know this is old and I came across this now in 2015. I hope all is well. When I was 17, I had my first baby. To ease your mind with this situation. Turn to God. You said it yourself, you are living out your dream. I deal with Anxiety too. Just put one foot in front of the other. I pray that things have changed for the better for you. Have faith. God Bless you, Vicki Honeycutt

I cannot express how much joy and comfort reading this verses have brought me. I wish I could post all of them on Facebook! Though I think that may seriously irritate my non-Christian friends.

Dear Father in Heaven, Marcelle is in need of your protection and grace. I do not know the circumstances but You do. I pray that Marcelle would reach out to You and You would give comfort and peace that no one else is able to. You have the power to heal, to restore and to provide. Be with Marcelle today and in the days ahead. You are in control, Lord. May this be an opportunity in Marcelle’s life to bring testimony to how faithful You are in times of trouble and in times of joy. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

      • I don’t mean to intrude on another person’s comment, but I was going through and highlighting the verses in my bible, and you should probably know, Psalm 36:3-6 is not “Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this; He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.” That is Psalm 37:3-6. Psalm 36:3-6 is actually “The words of their mouths are wicked and deceitful; they fail to act wisely or do good. Even on their beds they plot evil; they commit themselves to a sinful course and do not reject what is wrong. Your love, Lord, reaches to the heavens, our faithfulness to the skies. Your righteousness is like the highest mountains, your justice like the great deep. You, Lord, preserve both people and animals.” You may want to change that if you can.
